During the existence of the Soviet Union, a great number of works of art were created that, to a lesser or greater extent, presented an image that corresponded to the state ideology of raising the perfect Soviet man - a man of honor and labor: a builder of communism.
The problem, however, was that the USSR state system itself did not correspond to this image, was not suitable for this type of citizen, was afraid of and did not accept them, which, in the end, led to a fatal contradiction for the country between the state ideology and the real state of things.
Nowadays, that glorified image of the ideal Soviet citizen is disappearing, erased not only under the influence of time and circumstances, but also by the will of interested people....
The author presents a collection of selected samples of Soviet creativity, Soviet art, so that modern people could be imbued with the spirit of the time when equality, fraternity, equity, social justice, reverence for labor and striving for perfection were declared the main goals of existence both for the individual - citizen and for the entire Soviet state.
